July is all about celebrating independence; for our country, our communities and the personal freedom our barbers reclaim through their craft. This month, we are putting the spotlight on our fade game- a skill that defines R&R's technical precision and creative pride.

Introducing Our New Barber!
Meet Heather:
I started in beauty school at 17 and haven’t looked back. As a single mom, my daughter is my world—and when I’m not behind the chair, I’m dreaming of our next trip. (Chi-town’s got my heart.)

Barbering came naturally. I grew up doing friends’ hair, and it turned into a career I love. Cuts, color, kids, grown-ups—I do it all. What matters most to me is connection. I listen, I show up, and I create a space that feels real and welcoming.

This work got me through tough times and helped me grow. I stay sharp by keeping up with trends (shoutout to TikTok and picky kid clients). My goal? Keep learning, keep giving back, and one day, teach the next generation of barbers.
